Artisan Process & Craftsmanship

This terrazzo set is created through a meticulous, multi-step process — a true labor of love.

I handcraft the terrazzo chips in charcoal, gray, and terracotta tones. These chips are then carefully placed into a natural gray cement base to reveal a unique terrazzo pattern with a distinct brutalist edge.

Due to the process, some surfaces may display textural variations or subtle roughness where the colored chips are exposed — this is part of the aesthetic and character of the piece.

After unmolding, I hand-sand the bottoms of the coasters and tray to remove sharp edges and apply protective pads for surface safety.
